You do have a slow cooker, right? Is it hiding in the back of that cabinet or on the bottom shelf or on the floor behind the 27 bottles of wine you’ve been saving from all those Christmas and hostess gifts?
Well, dust that thing off and give yourself a break. All the wonderfulness of slow cooker meals is still true! Here’s a nudge to get you started — make a big batch of taco meat. Have some the day your cooking it and then freeze the leftovers in labled freezer bags or containers. Next Taco Tuesday? Just grab one of the bags from the freezer Monday night and put it in the fridge to thaw. You’re ready without the heat!
How about some Chicken Lettuce Wraps? Why yes, don’t mind if I do.
And let’s not forget about dessert — peaches? Yes, ma’am!
