Note: I may earn money from the companies mentioned in this post. It doesn’t affect my review, but lets me buy a new lipstick once in awhile and not feel guilty about the costs of my blog. xoxo
Blogging Boot Camp? If you would have suggested that to me a year ago I would have given you some side eye and told you that you’re crazy. I also would have told you that my computer tech help desk “bill” due to my husband is way too high and since I’m only marginally tech savvy there’s no way. Seriously, I never have the right vocabulary when talking to a help desk person and they don’t seem to find the humor in me talking about the “arrow thingy” that won’t cooperate.
As a recovering lawyer and person who always has a lot to say, moving 2000 miles away from my family and friends has seriously cramped my style. And at this point, even though my son does have the vocabulary of a 35 year old (a cursed only child with two parents who are really verbose), he isn’t really interested in hearing me blather on about my latest Netflix streaming find, my excitement over new Tastefully Simple stuff to cook with, or my difficulty in finding pants that don’t make my butt look bigger than it is.
Because I’m in Direct Sales and want to learn all the things to make myself and my business better by not being spammy and stuff, I’m part of Sassy Suite. The Suite is the brainchild of Brenda Ster, Social Media Business Coach for Direct Sellers and Solopreneurs. The Suite’s Flagship program is Blogging Boot Camp – an intense 8 week crash course in building your blog and going live for the world to read. In a lightbulb moment, it occurred to me that I could satisfy my need to “talk” about all the things, create a lovely group of folks to chat – extend my tribe, so to speak. My vision was having friends over to my house and sitting at the kitchen table. But I’ve no time or patience to spend hours reading and Googling about how to go about it all.
Why Sassy Suite’s Blogging Boot Camp?
I needed someone to teach me how to do all the tech things, to coach me on what I needed to do. In essence, give me the road map and be my co-pilot throughout. And that’s exactly what I got!!
It wasn’t easy, but there was always someone there to assist, to show me how it all worked and comes together. And there was no room for me to procrastinate (something I’m VERY talented at). If you’ve ever thought about whether the Suite’s Blogging Boot Camp is worth it, the answer is a resounding YES!!
Why?
- You’re not on your own
- You will learn how to build it yourself — crucial, since you’ll need to be the one to maintain it
- You will get the push you need to get it done

- And you’ll learn cross promoting of your blog too!
