Well, I actually never left, I just took a pause. Here’s what’s been going on, friends. Know that I hope to be back on the posting job to give you new info and musings.
During our last episode, I was blogging along and trying to get healthy (aka getting less “fluffy” and improving my physical fitness). I was going along ok until then I wasn’t. Story of many of our lives, right?
In the Spring of this year a friend and former co-worker called and asked if I was interested in getting back into working part-time. I left working outside the home in 2014 when my son was diagnosed as being on the Autism Spectrum — public school was an unmitigated disaster and we opted to homeschool. Aaron’s really matured and we’re at a much different place now, so I said Yes!
It’s taken me from then until now to get my bearings, adjust my schedule and get used to having extra work to do that doesn’t involve more laundry or stuff for the family. I also really didn’t know what I was really passionate about. I love and am interested in many things and I’ll continue to write about mom life things; I also discovered (remembered is probably more accurate) that I love sharing recipes and spreading the word on how meal prep doesn’t have to be difficult or too time-consuming. I’ve put my Pampered Chef apron back on and will be sharing recipes, tips, and making videos to get you excited (or at least to tolerate) making meals for yourself, and your family.
